Delicious homemade apple cinnamon rolls with a sweet glaze, perfect for breakfast or dessert.

  • 2 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 packet instant yeast
  • ½ cup milk
  • ¼ cup water
  • 2 ½ tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 medium apples, peeled and diced
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Mix flour, sugar, salt, and yeast in a bowl.
  2. Heat milk, water, and butter until warm. Add to dry ingredients with the egg. Mix until dough forms.
  3. Knead dough on a floured surface for 5 minutes. Let it rise for 1 hour.
  4. Roll dough into a rectangle. Spread diced apples, brown sugar, and cinnamon evenly.
  5. Roll dough tightly and cut into 12 slices. Place in a greased baking dish.
  6. Let rolls rise for 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Mix powdered sugar and milk for the glaze. Drizzle over warm rolls.
