  • 4 medium apples, peeled and sliced
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup butter, cold and cubed
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Toss the apple slices with 1/4 cup brown sugar and 1/2 tsp cinnamon.
  3. Spread the apples evenly in a baking dish.
  4. In a bowl, mix flour, oats, remaining brown sugar, granulated sugar, salt, and remaining cinnamon.
  5. Cut in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  6. Sprinkle the crumble topping over the apples.
  7. Bake for 35-40 minutes until the topping is golden and the apples are tender.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving.
