Apple Hand Pies are easy-to-make, portable treats filled with sweet apple filling. Perfect for snacks or desserts.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups peeled and diced apples
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 package pre-made pie crust
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix apples, sugar, cinnamon, lemon juice, and flour.
  3. Roll out the pie crust and cut into circles.
  4. Place a spoonful of apple mixture on one half of each circle.
  5. Fold the dough over the filling and seal the edges with a fork.
  6. Brush the pies with egg wash.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Let cool before serving.
