  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 sheets refrigerated pie crust

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out pie crust to fit a 15×10-inch baking sheet.
  3. In a bowl, mix apples, sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  4. Spread apple mixture over the pie crust.
  5. Dot with butter.
  6. Cover with the second pie crust, sealing edges.
  7. Cut slits in the top crust for ventilation.
  8. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Cool before serving.
