Spicy jalapeños stuffed with cheese and baked until golden.

Ingredients

  • 12 fresh jalapeños
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cut jalapeños in half lengthwise and remove seeds.
  3. Mix cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  4. Fill each jalapeño half with the cheese mixture.
  5. Combine breadcrumbs and olive oil in a separate bowl.
  6. Sprinkle breadcrumb mixture over stuffed jalapeños.
  7. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden.

Notes

  • Wear gloves when handling jalapeños.
  • Adjust spice level by leaving some seeds in.
  • Serve immediately for best texture.
