  • 1 block (8 oz) tempeh
  • 1/4 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Cut the tempeh into thick slices or cubes.
  2. In a bowl, mix BBQ sauce, olive oil, soy sauce, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
  3. Coat the tempeh evenly with the marinade and let it sit for at least 15 minutes.
  4. Grill or bake at 375°F (190°C) for 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway, until crispy and caramelized.
  5. Serve warm with extra BBQ sauce if desired.
