  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 oz fresh mozzarella, sliced
  • 2 medium tomatoes, sliced
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 cup balsamic glaze (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cut a pocket into each chicken breast, being careful not to cut through.
  3. Stuff each breast with mozzarella, tomato slices, and basil leaves.
  4. Secure with toothpicks if needed.
  5. Brush chicken with olive oil and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until chicken reaches 165°F (74°C).
  7. Remove toothpicks before serving.
  8. Drizzle with balsamic glaze if desired.
