- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 2 medium apples, peeled and diced
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
- Whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon in a bowl.
- In another bowl, beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla.
- Alternate adding the flour mixture and buttermilk to the butter mixture, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in diced apples.
- Pour half the batter into the pan, drizzle with caramel sauce, then add the remaining batter.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
