Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  2. Mix flour, cocoa powder, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Melt butter in a saucepan. Remove from heat and stir in sugar.
  4. Beat in eggs one at a time. Add vanilla.
  5. Fold in dry ingredients until just combined.
  6. Pour half the batter into the pan. Drizzle caramel sauce and sprinkle pecans.
  7. Add remaining batter and swirl lightly.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes. Cool before cutting.
