  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar

  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 baguette, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil for brushing

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Place the baguette slices on a baking sheet and brush with olive oil.
  3. Toast in the oven for 5-7 minutes until golden and crisp.
  4. In a bowl, combine diced tomatoes, minced garlic, chopped basil, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, and pepper.
