Ingredients

  • 1 9-inch unbaked pie crust
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups pecan halves
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix corn syrup, sugar, eggs, butter, vanilla, and salt.
  3. Stir in pecan halves.
  4. Pour mixture into unbaked pie crust.
  5. Bake for 50-60 minutes until center is set.
  6. Cool completely before serving.

Notes

  • Use room temperature eggs for even mixing.
  • Cover edges of crust with foil if browning too fast.
