A moist and flavorful pumpkin bread spiced with cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves.

Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon cloves
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
  2. Mix flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves in a bowl.
  3. Beat oil and sugar in another bowl. Add eggs and pumpkin puree.
  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients. Stir in water.
  5. Pour batter into prepared loaf pan.
  6. Bake for 60-65 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.

Notes

  • For best results, use fresh pumpkin puree.
  • Can be stored at room temperature for 3 days or frozen for up to 3 months.
