A hearty and flavorful Classic Tex-Mex Chili made with ground beef, beans, and spices.

  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, drained
  • 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup beef broth

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add chopped onion, minced garlic, and diced bell pepper. Cook until softened.
  3. Stir in kidney beans, diced tomatoes, chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Pour in beef broth and bring to a simmer.
  5. Cover and cook on low heat for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Serve hot with optional toppings like shredded cheese, sour cream, or chopped cilantro.

  • For extra heat, add diced jalapeños or a pinch of cayenne pepper.
