  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1/2 cup warm milk
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted

  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Dissolve yeast in warm milk and let sit for 5 minutes.
  2. Mix flour, sugar, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Add yeast mixture, melted butter, and egg. Knead into a soft dough.
  4. Cover and let rise for 1 hour.
  5. Mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla to make the filling.
  6. Divide dough into small balls and flatten each.
  7. Add a spoonful of filling to the center of each dough piece.
  8. Fold edges over the filling and pinch to seal.
  9. Place on a baking sheet and let rise for 30 minutes.
  10. Bake at 375°F for 15 minutes or until golden.
