- 2 lbs potatoes, thinly sliced
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup whole milk
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a saucepan, heat cream, milk, garlic, salt, pepper, and thyme until warm.
- Layer half the potatoes in a greased baking dish.
- Pour half the cream mixture over the potatoes.
- Repeat with remaining potatoes and cream mixture.
