1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup cornstarch
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 cup cold sparkling water
Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions
Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 375°F.
In a bowl, mix flour, cornstarch, salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
Gradually whisk in sparkling water to form a smooth batter.
