  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, drained
  • 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained
  • 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 can (6 oz) tomato paste
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 2 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add the onion, garlic, and bell pepper. Cook for 3-4 minutes.
  3. Transfer the beef mixture to the crock pot.
  4. Add all remaining ingredients to the crock pot. Stir well.
  5. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  6. Serve hot with your favorite toppings.

Notes

  • For a spicier chili, add 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
  • Freeze for up to 3 months.
