- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, drained
- 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained
- 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 can (6 oz) tomato paste
- 2 cups beef broth
- 2 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
- Add the onion, garlic, and bell pepper. Cook for 3-4 minutes.
- Transfer the beef mixture to the crock pot.
- Add all remaining ingredients to the crock pot. Stir well.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- Serve hot with your favorite toppings.
Notes
- For a spicier chili, add 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
