A simple and delicious dessert made with bananas and caramel sauce cooked in a crockpot.

Ingredients

  • 4 ripe bananas, sliced
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Grease the inside of your crockpot with butter or cooking spray.
  2. Layer the sliced bananas evenly at the bottom.
  3. In a bowl, mix brown sugar, melted butter, heavy cream, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt.
  4. Pour the caramel mixture over the bananas.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 2 hours.
  6. Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream.

Notes

  • Use ripe but firm bananas for the best texture.
  • Stir gently halfway through cooking if needed.
  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
