- 6 cups cubed French bread
- 3 ripe bananas, sliced
- 4 large eggs
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1 tbsp butter (for greasing)
- Grease the crockpot with butter.
- Layer half the bread cubes and banana slices in the crockpot.
- Repeat with remaining bread and bananas.
- Whisk eggs, milk, maple syrup, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a bowl.
- Pour mixture evenly over bread and bananas.
- Cover and cook on low for 3-4 hours.
- Serve warm with extra syrup if desired.
