- 4 cups fresh blackberries
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp cornstarch
- 1 cup old-fashioned oats
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup cold unsalted butter, cubed
- In a bowl, mix blackberries, granulated sugar, lemon juice, and cornstarch. Transfer to the crockpot.
- In another bowl, combine oats, flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Cut in butter until crumbly.
- Sprinkle the oat mixture over the blackberries.
- Cover and cook on low for 3 hours or high for 1.5 hours.
- Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream.
