  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup dairy-free chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a small bowl, prepare the flax egg by mixing ground flaxseed with water. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together the melted dairy-free butter and sugars until smooth.
  4. Add the flax egg and vanilla extract to the butter-sugar mixture, stirring well.
  5. In another bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, folding until just combined.
  7. Fold in the dairy-free chocolate chips.
  8. Spread the batter evenly into the prepared pan and bake for 20-25 minutes.
