A tangy and sweet cranberry chutney perfect for pairing with meats or as a condiment.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh cranberries
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp cloves
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Combine cranberries, sugar, water, and vinegar in a saucepan.
  2. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
  3. Add onion, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, and salt.
  4. Reduce heat and simmer for 15-20 minutes until thickened.
  5. Remove from heat and let cool before serving.

Notes

  • Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
  • Adjust sugar to taste if cranberries are too tart.
