Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Mix peaches with 1/2 cup sugar in a bowl and set aside.
  3. Pour melted butter into a baking dish.
  4. Whisk flour, remaining sugar, baking powder, salt, milk, and vanilla in a separate bowl.
  5. Pour batter over the butter—do not stir.
  6. Spoon peaches evenly over the batter—do not stir.
  7. Bake for 40-45 minutes until golden brown.
