- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 packet instant yeast
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 1/2 tbsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup softened butter (for filling)
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
- 1 tbsp milk (for glaze)
- Mix flour, sugar, salt, and yeast in a bowl.
- Warm milk, water, and butter until melted. Cool slightly.
- Add wet ingredients and egg to dry mix. Knead until smooth.
- Let dough rise for 1 hour.
- Roll dough into a rectangle. Spread softened butter, then sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon.
- Roll tightly and slice into 12 pieces.
- Place in a greased pan and let rise for 30 minutes.
- Bake at 375°F for 20 minutes.
- Mix powdered sugar and milk for glaze. Drizzle over warm rolls.
