- 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup salsa
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh cilantro
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- In a mixing bowl, mash the black beans with a fork.
- Add sour cream, mayonnaise, salsa, cumin, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper. Mix well.
- Stir in half the shredded cheese.
- Transfer the mixture to a small oven-safe dish.
- Sprinkle remaining cheese on top.
- Bake for 20 minutes or until bubbly.
- Garnish with chopped cilantro and serve warm.
Notes
- For extra heat, add diced jalapeños.
- Refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
- Reheat in the oven or microwave before serving.
