A refreshing and tangy iced tea made from hibiscus flowers.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups water
  • 1/2 cup dried hibiscus flowers
  • 1/4 cup sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh mint leaves (optional)

Instructions

  1. Boil water in a pot.
  2. Add hibiscus flowers and simmer for 10 minutes.
  3. Strain the tea into a pitcher.
  4. Stir in sugar until dissolved.
  5. Add lime juice and mix well.
  6. Let it cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for 1 hour.
  7. Serve over ice cubes.
  8. Garnish with mint leaves if desired.

Notes

  • Adjust sweetness with more or less sugar.
  • Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 2 days.
