A simple and hearty keto-friendly dish with cabbage and sausage cooked in a crockpot.

Ingredients

  • 1 medium head of cabbage, chopped
  • 1 lb smoked sausage, sliced
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add onions and garlic, sauté until softened.
  3. Add sausage slices and cook until lightly browned.
  4. Transfer the mixture to the crockpot.
  5. Add chopped cabbage, paprika, black pepper, and salt.
  6. Pour in chicken broth and stir well.
  7. Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or high for 2-3 hours.
  8. Stir before serving.

Notes

  • Use any type of smoked sausage you prefer.
  • Add red pepper flakes for extra heat.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
