- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup pure maple syrup
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups chopped pecans
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×9-inch baking pan.
- In a bowl, mix flour, softened butter, granulated sugar, and salt to form a crumbly dough.
- Press the dough into the bottom of the prepared pan. Bake for 15 minutes until lightly golden.
