  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×9-inch baking pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, softened butter, granulated sugar, and salt to form a crumbly dough.
  3. Press the dough into the bottom of the prepared pan. Bake for 15 minutes until lightly golden.
  4. In another bowl, whisk eggs, brown sugar, maple syrup, melted butter, and vanilla until smooth.
  5. Stir in chopped pecans. Pour the mixture over the baked crust.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the filling is set. Cool completely before cutting into bars.
