  • 1 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups pecan halves

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Roll out the pie crust and place it in a 9-inch pie dish. Flute the edges.
  3. In a bowl, whisk maple syrup, brown sugar, heavy cream, melted butter, eggs, vanilla, and salt.
  4. Spread pecans evenly over the pie crust.
  5. Pour the filling over the pecans.
  6. Bake for 45-50 minutes until the center is set.
  7. Cool completely before slicing.
