A delicious sweet potato casserole topped with maple-glazed pecans.

  • 4 cups mashed sweet potatoes
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Mix mashed sweet potatoes, brown sugar, eggs, milk, 1/4 cup melted butter, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a bowl.
  3. Spread mixture into a greased baking dish.
  4. Combine pecans, maple syrup, and 2 tbsp melted butter in a separate bowl.
  5. Sprinkle pecan mixture over sweet potatoes.
  6. Bake for 30 minutes or until topping is golden brown.
