- 4 cups water
- 4 black tea bags
- 2 ripe peaches, sliced
- 2 tablespoons honey or sugar (optional)
- 1 cup ice cubes
- Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)
- Boil 4 cups of water in a saucepan.
- Remove from heat, add black tea bags, and steep for 5 minutes.
- Discard tea bags and let the tea cool to room temperature.
- In a blender, puree sliced peaches until smooth.
- Stir peach puree and honey (or sugar) into the cooled tea.
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to chill.
- Serve over ice and garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired.
Notes
- Adjust sweetness to taste by adding more or less honey.
- For a stronger peach flavor, add extra peach slices.
- Use filtered water for the best taste.
