A simple and nutritious breakfast made in the slow cooker with bananas and oats.

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 2 cups milk (or almond milk for dairy-free)
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Lightly grease the slow cooker with cooking spray.
  2. Add mashed bananas, oats, milk, honey, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt to the slow cooker.
  3. Stir well to combine.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 4 hours or high for 2 hours.
  5. Stir before serving and add toppings if desired.

Notes

  • Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
  • Reheat with a splash of milk if needed.
  • Top with nuts, seeds, or fresh fruit.
