Instructions

  1. Rinse the blackberries and remove any stems.
  2. Add blackberries, sugar, water, and lemon juice to the slow cooker.
  3. Cook on low for 4 hours, stirring occasionally.
  4. Mash the berries with a spoon or potato masher.
  5. Strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve to remove seeds.
  6. Let the syrup cool before transferring to a jar or bottle.
