A rich and creamy chocolate orange pudding made effortlessly in your slow cooker. Perfect for a comforting dessert with a zesty twist.

Ingredients

  • 200g dark chocolate, chopped
  • 100g butter, softened
  • 150g caster sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 100g self-raising flour
  • Zest and juice of 1 orange
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 100ml milk

Instructions

  1. Grease the inside of your slow cooker lightly with butter.
  2. Melt the chocolate in a heatproof bowl over simmering water.
  3. Cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then fold in the flour and cocoa powder.
  5. Stir in the melted chocolate, orange zest, juice, and milk.
  6. Pour the mixture into the slow cooker and cook on low for 3 hours.
  7. Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.

Notes

  • Use good-quality dark chocolate for the best flavor.
  • If the mixture is too thick, add a little more milk.
  • Check the pudding after 2.5 hours to avoid overcooking.
