- 8 oz elbow macaroni
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded gouda cheese
- 2 cups whole milk
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 3 tbsp butter
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- Cook the macaroni according to package instructions, then drain.
- Combine all cheeses in a bowl.
- Grease the slow cooker with butter.
- Layer half the macaroni, half the cheese, and half the milk and cream. Repeat.
- Dot with remaining butter and sprinkle with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Cover and cook on low for 2 hours, stirring once halfway.
- Serve warm.
Notes
- Stirring halfway prevents sticking.
- For extra creaminess, add more milk if needed.
- Let sit for 10 minutes before serving to thicken.
