Tender pulled chicken cooked in a sweet and tangy honey BBQ sauce, perfect for sandwiches or tacos.

  • 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Place chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
  2. In a bowl, mix BBQ sauce, honey, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Pour the sauce over the chicken.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours.
  5. Shred the chicken with two forks and mix with the sauce.
  6. Serve on buns or tortillas.

Notes

  • Use your favorite BBQ sauce for best results.
  • Adjust honey for more or less sweetness.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
