  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional, for thickening)

Instructions

  1. Place chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
  2. In a bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, ketchup, olive oil, garlic, basil, and black pepper.
  3. Pour the sauce over the chicken.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or high for 2-3 hours.
  5. If desired, mix cornstarch with a little water and stir into the sauce to thicken it.
  6. Serve over rice or with vegetables.
