- 2 lbs beef chuck roast, cut into chunks
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp ginger, grated
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- Place beef chunks in slow cooker.
- Mix soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes in a bowl.
- Pour mixture over beef and add sliced onion.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- Shred beef with forks and mix with sauce.
- Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
Notes
- For extra spice, add more red pepper flakes.
- Serve over rice or in lettuce wraps.
