A simple slow cooker recipe for homemade peach butter, perfect for spreading on toast or pairing with desserts.

  • 4 lbs fresh peaches, peeled and chopped
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp cloves
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Place peeled and chopped peaches in the slow cooker.
  2. Add granulated sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and lemon juice. Stir well.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours or high for 4-5 hours, stirring occasionally.
  4. Once peaches are soft and liquid has reduced, blend mixture until smooth with an immersion blender.
  5. Cook uncovered for another 1-2 hours to thicken further.
  6. Stir in vanilla extract and let cool before storing in jars.
