A simple and flavorful dish made with tender chicken, pesto, mozzarella, and pasta cooked in a slow cooker.

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup pesto
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 8 oz penne pasta
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Place chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
  2. Add pesto, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or high for 2-3 hours.
  5. Shred the chicken using two forks.
