  • 2 cups cubed white bread
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 3 celery stalks, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 large eggs

  • 1 tsp dried sage
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish.
  2. In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add onion, celery, and garlic. Sauté until soft.
  3. In a large bowl, combine crumbled cornbread and cubed white bread.
  4. Stir in the sautéed vegetables, eggs, broth, sage, thyme, salt, and pepper.
