A simple and delicious dish featuring portobello mushrooms stuffed with a savory mixture of breadcrumbs, cheese, and herbs.

Ingredients

  • 4 large portobello mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Clean mushrooms and remove stems.
  3. In a bowl, mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic, thyme, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  4. Drizzle olive oil over mushroom caps.
  5. Stuff each mushroom with the breadcrumb mixture.
  6. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
