A quick and easy salmon rice bowl inspired by TikTok trends.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 salmon fillet (about 6 oz)
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1/2 avocado, sliced
  • 1/4 cucumber, sliced
  • 1 tbsp furikake seasoning
  • 1 tsp sriracha (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook rice according to package instructions.
  2. Season salmon with soy sauce and cook in a pan for 4-5 minutes per side.
  3. Flake cooked salmon into small pieces.
  4. Mix mayonnaise and sesame oil in a small bowl.
  5. Assemble bowl with rice, salmon, avocado, and cucumber.
  6. Drizzle with mayo-sesame mixture and sriracha if desired.
  7. Sprinkle furikake on top before serving.

Notes

  • Use leftover rice for faster prep.
  • Swap salmon with canned tuna for a budget option.
