- 1 large head of cabbage
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1 cup lentils, cooked
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 carrot, grated
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2 cups tomato sauce
- Boil the cabbage head until leaves soften.
- Remove leaves carefully and trim thick stems.
- Mix rice, lentils, onion, garlic, carrot, tomato paste, and spices in a bowl.
- Place a spoonful of filling on each cabbage leaf and roll tightly.
- Arrange rolls in a baking dish and pour tomato sauce over them.
