  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup cold unsalted butter, cubed
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Cut in cold butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Stir in cranberries and white chocolate chips.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk cream, egg, and vanilla.
  6. Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients. Mix until just combined.
  7. Turn dough onto a floured surface. Shape into a circle and cut into wedges.
  8. Place scones on baking sheet. Bake for 15-18 minutes until golden.
  9. Cool slightly before serving.
