A creamy cheesecake topped with spiced apple crumble. This dessert combines two favorites into one rich treat.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 3 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 cups peeled and diced apples
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup cold butter, cubed

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F.
  2. Mix graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Press into a 9-inch springform pan.
  3. Bake crust for 10 minutes. Let cool.
  4. Beat cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  5. Add eggs one at a time, mixing on low after each.
  6. Pour filling over crust.
  7. Toss apples with brown sugar and cinnamon. Spoon over filling.
  8. Combine flour and cold butter. Cut until crumbly. Sprinkle over apples.
  9. Bake for 55-60 minutes. Center should be almost set.
  10. Cool on a wire rack. Refrigerate for 4 hours before serving.

Notes

  • Use room temperature cream cheese for a smooth filling.
  • Granny Smith apples work well for a tart flavor.
  • Chill overnight for the best texture.
