Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups fresh cranberries
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 9-inch unbaked pie crust

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Spread cranberries evenly over the bottom of the pie crust.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together sugar, eggs, cream, milk, flour, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Pour the custard mixture over the cranberries.
  5. Bake for 45 to 50 minutes until the custard is set and lightly golden.
  6. Cool completely on a wire rack before slicing.

Notes

  • You can use frozen cranberries without thawing.
  • Chill the pie for cleaner slices.
  • Serve with whipped cream if desired.
