  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tbsp orange zest
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cream butter, granulated sugar, and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Mix in orange zest and vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually add flour and salt, mixing until just combined.
  5. Fold in chopped cranberries.
  6. Press dough into a 1/2-inch thick rectangle on the baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until edges are golden.
  8. Let cool slightly, then cut into squares while still warm.

Notes

  • Chill dough for 30 minutes if too soft before baking.
  • Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
