  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, drained
  • 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained
  • 2 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Drain the excess fat.
  3. Add the onion and garlic to the skillet.
  4. Cook for 3 minutes.
  5. Transfer the mixture to the crockpot.
  6. Add the tomatoes, beans, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
  7. Stir to combine.
  8. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours.
  9. Serve hot.
