A simple and delicious peach crisp with a crispy oat topping. Perfect for summer desserts.

Ingredients

  • 6 cups sliced fresh peaches
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup cold unsalted butter, cubed

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Toss peaches with lemon juice, granulated sugar, and cinnamon. Spread in baking dish.
  3. Mix oats, flour, brown sugar, and salt in bowl.
  4. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  5. Sprinkle topping over peaches.
  6. Bake for 45 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  7. Cool 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Use ripe but firm peaches.
  • Add 1 tbsp cornstarch if peaches are very juicy.
